Santos FC 2020 Tour

JUNE 20TH - 30TH, 2020 (for ages 2013-2003)

Soccer - Futsal - Culture

An authentic sports and cultural exchange experience. Traveling to another country is a unique adventure that opens doors to the future, strengthens and improves knowledge about the sport and culture, and promotes mutual understanding.

Soccer/futsal is a universal language—it transcends borders, language and socioeconomic barriers.

Participants will interact with local players, coaches and fans, to experience their culture in a unique and intimate way.

The entire experience will include training at the iconic Brazilian soccer club Santos FC, within one of the most recognizable player development programs in Brazil, and home to soccer greats Pele, Robinho and Neymar among many others. A futsal day camp at Corinthians, one of the most successful clubs in Brazil, training, playing and visiting the club and stadium. Activities such as Brazil’s very own Futevolei (foot-volleyball) and martial art form Capoeira which added to futsal round out an authentic Brazilian soccer experience.

Expect to train and play on most days. Mornings start with breakfast at the hotel followed by morning sessions, then lunch, afternoon and or evening game or activity, and a late dinner. No trainings on arrival and departure days. We’ll also visit the Pele Museum, do a tour of Santos FC stadium, attend the finals of the Futsal Paulista Federation and spend an afternoon visiting a program for at risk youth. All in all, it will be a packed schedule.

Cost of the trip includes all expenses while in Brazil (local transportation, hotel, all meals, trainings and activities.
